Ruby Necklace (or Othonna Capensis) is one of what I call "stringey-hangey" succulents with red to purple stems and green long bulbous leaves. It's one of the favorite succulents I have because when I got it online, it arrived all broken up in its little pot and covered with dirt. The picture below wasafter I uncovered him from the dirt. It it a delicate succulent, its stems are easily breakable so it takes care when transporting it around to water and repot. He is just such a good little grower :) I even neglected watering him one time and he lost some of his leaves but he came back just as strong. He does seem to need more frequent waterings than other succulents. All the "stringey-hangey" succulents seem to need more frequent waterings than usual for succulents.
